  • DeAre you thinking about marketing wrong? When you think about marketing? Do you find that fear, frustration, anxiety and like a bunch of other emotions come up? That's usually because of our negative mindset we have around sales, when you think clients should be breaking down your door, because you've put out one piece of content or video, and you're frustrated, that is not working properly, or you're thinking about marketing wrong, right? So come from place of service not selling, when you do this, your thoughts about marketing will change. marketing works if you work it, and consistently. So I'm going to challenge your perspective on some of the marketing activities that you're doing. Right? So what about those in person networking events, if networking events aren't your thing, don't do them. If being in front of large groups of people gives you anxiety, or having to play nice with other people in a group setting isn't your thing, don't do it. If creating video content isn't your thing, don't do it. Right, the emotions you feel about, you know what you're doing is going to show and deter people from actually connecting with you. So find something that you can vibe with that fits your personality, and then create content using that mechanism. If writing is your thing, use writing as a mechanism to educate, entertain, inform, and lead your audience. I've heard people say that they've gotten, you know quite a few clients from not doing marketing online, so they don't need to do any other kind of marketing activity. That's cool. And yeah, you most definitely can build a business with offline strategies. But that fear and anxiety and frustration that you're having, you know, is doesn't have a lot of friction with it. Those offline activities are still marketing activities, marketing avenues that you have less friction with. So don't let the fear of trying something new keep you from being where your audience is. That newsletter you have. The one that you're complaining about isn't getting the clients you want is a long term strategy is not meant to generate clients immediately. It's meant as a nurturing system. So educate your prospects, teach them inform them. And in this way, you're going to be the authority figure in your in your industry. Right. So are you frustrated because your social media isn't generating clients like you want? Social media isn't a strategy, it's a tool you use to send traffic to your website, your blog, your videos, okay? It's a tool you use to create engaged engagement and likeability is a tool you use to educate, inform, teach and lead your prospects. So here's what I want you to do.
